Principal Speech Pathologist

Cecilia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Hearing and Speech Major) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Australian Catholic University.

Cecilia has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of:

  • Speech sound disorders, in particular children who are difficult to understand

  • Preschool language disorders and preparing children for language required in their first year of school

  • Stuttering intervention for young children using the Lidcombe Program

  • Literacy and learning difficulties with the SPELD NSW program

  • Delayed language development or what is commonly called, ‘late talkers’ with delivery of It Takes Two to Talk® from The Hanen Program®.

  • Autistic children or children who may benefit from social communication support with delivery of the More Than Words® from The Hanen Program®.

When it comes to your child’s therapeutic journey, Cecilia will endeavour to create individualised goals and activities tailored to your child’s needs and interests.
